I share my life (and most of my sofa space) with three very different pups: Mable and Bobby, my two sassy Chihuahuas with bags of attitude, and Pongo, my big-hearted Dalmatian rescue who couldn’t have picked a better forever home.

Animals have been a constant in my life – from dogs and cats to horses – and I honestly can’t imagine a world without them. Dogs especially hold a special place in my heart. They really do earn the title of “man’s best friend” every time they greet you with that full-body tail wag when you walk through the door.

I started Barks & Recreation because I know first-hand how tricky it can be to make sure your four-legged friend is cared for when life gets in the way. Whether it’s a one-off event or your weekend shifts clash with walk time, I’m here to step in. Once you’re registered, booking is simple and flexible – you can even book up to 12 hours in advance (subject to availability).
